It is finely marbled due to Ibérico pigs’ 100% natural diet which gives it a beautiful, marbled look, great juiciness, a fine texture and exceptional flavour. The fat, which is one of the great secrets of the Iberian ham, is very aromatic and so smooth that it melts in the mouth flooding the palate with a flavour that is incomparable, full of nuances, intense and prolonged taste.
Iberian ham has a high percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids, especially oleic acid, similar to those contained in olive oil and therefore helps to maintain an adequate level of the good and healthy cholesterol in our blood.
